Farm holidays
The Sughericcio holidays farm is located in a most typical Tuscan landscape; surrounded by secular olive trees, orchards, and wheat fields.
The main building, a farmhouse built in 1890 by Acerbi Family.
It was converted into a holiday farm in 1995 on the basis of a general restoration plan designed to fully respect its original patina and appeal.
The structure has been partitioned into three independent apartments: two smaller ones (Cherry and Sunflower) on the ground floor and a larger one, (Wisteria, the original landlord residence) on the first floor.
Frescos decorations and hand painted tiles, distinctive for the different part of the house, have been made by the professional painter and interior design Mrs Anna Grazia Acerbi.
Products
The main produce at the Sughericcio farm is extra-virgin olive oil (EVO). It is obtained from olives, which are hand harvested (typically in the late Summer) and processed at the local oil press.
The Sughericcio EVO can be purchased at the farm at a special price.
In the areas of the property adjacent to the building there are fruit trees of many varieties: apple, apricot, plum, fig.
Guests of Sughericcio have the privilege of picking and eating (as much as the can) the ripe fruit.
